Johannes Felscher is a New York based bassist, producer and recording engineer at home in many directions in music. Born 1983 in Nuremberg, Germany his musical path took him to Wuerzburg, Stuttgart, Amsterdam and finally New York, where he earned a Masters Degree from the prestigious Manhattan School of Music. He also holds a Bachelors Degree from the Conservatory of Amsterdam and an Artistic Diploma from the Conservatory of Stuttgart (Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst).
Feeling equally at home in the studio as on stage, Johannes maintains a busy schedule producing and recording for a wide scope of artists and institutions.
Johannes Felscher performs on upright and electric bass alike, covering a broad range of styles reflecting his wide interest in everything music and natural feel for groove and harmony regardless of genre.
